Must Do’s In Kenya

When I visited Kenya I had no idea what I wanted to do except that I wanted to go on a safari. Here’s a recap of the things I did that I would recommend checking out if you’re visiting Kenya.

My apartment was in Nairobi so everything I did was central to there. the first thing I did was a safari in Maasai Mara, here I got to see lions, giraffes, zebra, rhinos and more. I would highly recommend a tour here as we got to see so much wildlife and covered so much ground in not a lot of time. Next we did another safari / boat tour at Lake Nakuru Park. This was a walking safari so we got to get within feet of the animals with the help of our guide. Here we also did a Boat ride where we got to get up close with some hippos, that was really highlight of the day. One of the next days we went to an Elephant Sanctuary where we got to see the workers feeding baby elephants milk. This was such a cool experience to see the elephants rolling around in the dirt and drinking their bottles, 100% recommend this for any animal lovers. Lastly we went to another sanctuary to Feed Giraffes, this was a super cool experience where you can feed the giraffes from a suspended walkway. We really enjoyed this experience as it was very unique and super informative.
